Dennis Tan’s work traces what remains when things stop moving forward and begin to remember. His practice moves quietly between sculpture, drawing, and found objects—works that appear materially modest yet conceptually light, almost ironic in their vanishing economies. Whether situated in the gallery or in situ, they hold a tension between survival and transience, between what is made and what is barely held together.
